Veronica Craker, president
Veronica Craker is a business reporter at the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business. She moved to the Tri-Cities from Odessa, Texas, where she was the interactive editor at the Odessa American. She started her journalism career in broadcast as a producer and then assignments editor at the ABC and NBC affiliates in Midland, Texas, before joining the OA. She lives in Richland with her husband and their dog Molly.
Kristin M. Kraemer, treasurer
Kristin M. Kraemer is the courts reporter at the Tri-City Herald. She is a lifetime member of SPJ and a longtime William O. Douglas chapter member. She has served in a variety of board roles for WOD, including several terms as president.
Kristina Lord
Kristina Lord is the city editor at the Tri-City Herald. She has been assistant city editor at since 2004 and spent five years as a reporter at the Herald. She worked at two weekly newspapers before joining the Tri-City Herald. She’s served on the William O. Douglas chapter board since 2004, holding several positions over the years. She was a journalism fellow in the Journalism, Education and Public Good program at the Seattle-based Institute for Educational Inquiry from 2002-03. She graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She has two small children, a husband who teaches a diverse group of high schoolers and serves as a senior chief in the Navy Reserves, a cat named Typo, and a passion for correct grammar and good journalism.
Sara Schilling

Donald W. Meyers
Donald W. Meyers has been at a reporter at the Yakima Herald-Republic since January 2014. Prior to that, he was a reporter at The Salt Lake Tribune for more than six years. He was also the editorial page editor of the Daily Herald in Provo, Utah for more than eight years, as well as having been a reporter at daily and weekly newspapers in Utah and New Jersey. He majored in Communications:Print Journalism at Brookdale Community College in New Jersey and Brigham Young University. He was elected as Region 9 director in 2010. He is a past-president of the Utah Headliners Chapter, Society of Professional Journalists and is a member of the Utah Foundation for Open Government. He has won numerous awards from the Utah-Idaho-Spokane Associated Press Association, the Utah Headliners Chapter of SPJ and the Utah Press Association. He is also the recipient of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's regional Environmental Excellence Award for his coverage of air-quality issues.
